Elisa Kleinbichler
I'm a free spirit, naturally curious, and excited about exploring the world within & around. Originally from Austria, I've spent the last years living & working in many different places. My approach to teaching is inspired by all those chapters. I view yoga as a holistic practice, integrating the rich dimensions of yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, and meditation into every class, while honoring the unique needs & limitations of each student. My goal is to inspire students on their spiritual journey of self-discovery, fostering greater self-awareness, presence, and contentment in everyday life. Together, we will cultivate a practice that leads to bliss and fulfillment both on and off the mat.
Pauline Münchenberg
I love exploring life, learning new things, and being by the ocean. Having a background in psychology, I've always been curious about the human mind. Flowing to our own rhythm by moving our body, stepping out of the thinking mind, and tapping into the magic and joy around and within us, is why I love (teaching) yoga. My flows are inspired by vinyasa, surf and yin yoga, always considering the physical and mental health of my students. I see yoga as an adventure because you never know what you may find on the mat and within yourself. I hope to take you with me on this adventure, inspiring you to play, being creative and present within yourself, while rediscovering your own body, mind and the world around and within you.
We are Elisa and Pauline – two friends, certified yoga teachers, sunshine lovers and free souls. In our yoga classes, we focus on strong vinyasa flows to awaken our inner light, while also ground and pause through slow flows & yin classes to release stuck emotions. We always try to cultivate positive energy and spread love – on and off the mat, to help you bring what you practice in class into your daily life.
And that's why Soleya Retreats was born.
Serenity by the Adriatic Sea
About 45 minutes away from Podgorica airport, our retreat center is tucked away in the quiet and beautiful coastal village of Buljarica, Montenegro. The Mahakala retreat center is surrounded by mountains and the Adriatic Sea, providing breathtaking views and a serene environment for relaxation, healing, and renewal.
Mahakala is dedicated to holistic wellbeing, where plant-based organic cuisine meets a peaceful escape into nature. Our home for the week includes a yoga shala with mountain & sea views, a rooftop relaxation area with a jacuzzi, outdoor bathtubs, an outdoor lounge and a spa. Our nutritious, homemade meals will be fully plant based, sourced from local family owned organic farms and based on a powerful intermittent fasting philosophy.
The retreat center is only a 15-minute walk away from the beach and the local village is just down the hill, so you can explore the surroundings easily during your free time.

The easiest way to get to the retreat location is by taking the plane to Podogorica airport. From there, you can take the local bus to Buljarica or a cab, which costs around 55 euros. Of course, we are happy to connect guests arriving at the same time so that you can split the costs for the cab.
Check in is on Friday, September 26, starting at 3pm. We will welcome you with a nourishing dinner at 5pm. After, we will explore our home for the week and hold an opening ceremony to fully arrive at the space. Check out is on Wednesday, October 1, at 9am. We will have breakfast together at 10am before we have to say goodbye. If you need more flexibility for the check in and/or check out, please contact us and we will find a solution.
All yoga equipment is available at our retreat location, as well as towels & bed linen. Please bring yoga clothes, swim wear, a beach/pool towel, a refillable water bottle, a pen and a note book, plus sturdy shoes for walks/hikes. We also recommend bringing enough sun screen, mosquito spray, and some cozy, warm clothes for the evenings. The weather is similar to Mallorca, so it will be warm enough for ocean dips.
Please fill in our booking form. Your spot will be secured once you transferred the deposit of 500€ to our bank account. We will then send you a confirmation email with additional information. The rest of the amount is due no later than 8 weeks before the retreat starts. If you have any questions related to booking, please email us and we are happy to answer!
This retreat is open to all yoga levels, beginner and intermediate. We will always provide modifications and make sure to meet each student where they are. We will teach strong, energizing vinyasa flows in the mornings and focus on relaxation through yin yoga, slow flows or yoga nidra in the evenings. Each morning we will also practice pranayama and meditation before starting the day with yoga.
If you have any food allergies, please let us know in advance so that we can accompany for that. The food will be vegan, freshly cooked and sourced locally, following an intermitted fasting schedule. If you want some snacks or coffee in between, there is the Mahakala coffee shop right next to our retreat center.
